Cutest Baseball Game

I've made no progress on being able to upload the videos of Tucker playing baseball, but here are some pictures to tide you over until I can figure it out.

The sweet supportive brother.

Tucker received a jersey and a hat today.  His jersey is HUGE, but hey it has his name on it.

Tucker's 1st Baseball Practice

My oldest has officially started playing baseball! I know, I'm old or rather he makes me old. I was really nervous all week leading up to his first practice.  Tucker is either amazing meeting new people or he has a melt down and hides and won't become comfortable.  I wasn't sure which he would be.  I think this pregnancy was also playing havoc with my emotions that week.  I felt so nervous and anxious you would have thought I was the 5 year old about to play baseball for the first time. It was ridiculous.

Tucker did amazing at practice.  He warmed right up to people and followed what his coach instructed him to do.  I was and am really proud of him.  On the way to practice I told him that we would watch and cheer him on.  He replied with, "Not too loud mom or my coach will hear you." So apparently we are suppose to cheer quietly. Tucker enjoyed practice so much that he was the only boy at the end of practice to loudly say, "let's do it again." Mind you, it was getting dark and there were no lights over the field. Apparently that didn't matter to Tucker. :) It was a nice surprise that Aaron had enough free time to come out and help out at the practice.  It turned out that most Dads went out onto the field with their sons for the practice. I'm sure the coach appreciated all of that wonderful help.

 His "ready" stance.

 He caught the ball!!!

When I went to take this picture through the fence, Tucker said "Mom I don't have time for pictures." His comment is even more funny because I didn't try to get his attention, but when he saw me he stopped trying to hit the ball and instructed me.

I think he kind of looks like he is golfing in this picture.  Maybe when he is older we will get him into that too. Isn't he just adorable?!

Thanksgiving Spread

This past Thanksgiving was my second year hosting Thanksgiving.  I realize it was forever ago, but I didn't get to blog about it then because our camera battery died and we didn't get a replacement for it until recently.  We stayed home again this year, but had some AMAZING friends over.  They have since moved and we miss them dearly.  I feel like everything on Thanksgiving turned out beautifully.  My turkey was nice and browned, but juicy and moist.  I'm really proud of my pumpkin pie.  I made it completely from scratch! Our friends Jessica and Eric brought cupcakes and stuffed mushrooms...yum! All this food talk is making me hungry.

Ethan's 3rd Birthday

Lately I keep looking at my boys and wondering, "when did you get so big?"  They really are growing up way to fast for my liking, but I can't hold them back because that would serve my selfish needs and not there needs.  Before I know it they will be grown married men, at least I'll still have the love of my life...that would be my husband.

Any who, enough blubbering from me, here are some pictures of Ethan's 3rd birthday.  We took the boys to the Transportation Museum to celebrate the occasion.  What boy doesn't love cars, trucks, and trains right?  They had a blast and Aaron and I left tired.

 Mini train ride!!!

Ethan even got to see Santa on his birthday! What a lucky dude!

A Curious George birthday cake to fit the boy that is very curious. Don't judge the cake too harshly.  I ran out of icing bags and had to improvise with zip-lock sandwich bags.  I had icing popping out of the bags and oozing down my arm, but I finished his cake.
