This year was a big year in our family. Both boys started school almost 4 weeks ago, but here is the documentation of it. Tucker started Kindergarten, which is all day everyday. He was very excited, but he naturally got a little nervous the night before. He loves his classmates and is very eager to please his teacher. Eating at school is still a novelty and he loves to buy his lunch at school. The second day of school he wanted to walk into the school and to his class all by himself. It broke my heart a little, but I'm also grateful he wants to be independent.
Ethan started preschool this year. He was more than ready to go to school. He probably could have gone to preschool last Winter after he turned 3, but I wasn't ready to let go of him yet. Ethan is in the same preschool class that Tucker was in for 2 years, so he was really comfortable going to class. In fact, he was so comfortable that he started saying goodbye to me at home and hour before class even started.
